Mark A. Haydukovich

President and Chief Executive Officer

Mark Haydukovich is the Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Oxford Life Insurance Company®, North American Insurance Company, Christian Fidelity Life Insurance Company®, and Dallas General Life Insurance Company®. He has been with Oxford Life® since 1978 and has served on the Board of Directors since 1980.

Mark has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Northern Arizona University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Arizona State University. Mark holds the following professional designations: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Fellow in the Life Management Institute (FLMI), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).

Mark serves as Vice Chairman of the Arizona Life and Disability Insurance Guaranty Fund and is a member of the American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI) Forum 500 Board of Governors.

Don C. Smith, CLU

Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer

Don Smith has a long and distinguished career in the insurance industry. He began his career in 1966 with Provident Life and Accident Insurance Company and then moved to American Heritage Life in 1971. During his 16 year tenure at American Heritage Life, he served in a number of positions, culminating with Senior Vice President, Group Department. He joined Benefit Resources, Inc. as the Executive Vice President in 1986. He rejoined American Heritage Life in 1989 as Regional Director of Agencies. He joined Oxford Life Insurance Company® in 1997 as Assistant Vice President and Program Manager, and became Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Oxford Life Insurance Company® in 2000. Don also serves as a Director and Vice President of North American Insurance Company, Christian Fidelity Life Insurance Company®, and Dallas General Life Insurance Company®, all part of Oxford Life® Group.

Don earned a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from Western Michigan University. He is a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), and a member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, the National Association of Life Underwriters, and the Association of Health Insurance Advisors. He is currently President and a member of the Board of Directors for the Phoenix Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals. He is a licensed insurance agent in 40 states.

Eric N. Johansson, FLMI, CSA

Vice President and Chief Operations Officer

Eric Johansson is the Vice President and Chief Operations Officer for Oxford Life Insurance Company®, North American Insurance Company, Christian Fidelity Life Insurance Company®, and Dallas General Life Insurance Company®. He has been with Oxford Life® since the acquisition of his prior employer, Christian Fidelity Life Insurance Company®, in 2000. Eric served as Assistant Vice President of Christian Fidelity® from 1993 to its acquisition.

During his career, he has held many different marketing positions and has been responsible for the sales and profitability of several of the Company's lines of business.

Eric has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Evangel University. He also holds numerous insurance industry designations, including Certified Senior Advisor (CSA), Medicare Supplement Accredited Advisor (MSAA), Fellow in the Life Management Institute (FLMI), Associate in Customer Service (ACS), Associate in Insurance Agency Administration (AIAA), and Associate in Insurance Regulatory Compliance (AIRC). He holds an Arizona life and health producer license.

Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Charles Miller joined Oxford Life Insurance Company® in January 2009 as Vice President, Treasurer, and Chief Financial Officer, also serving in the same capacity for North American Insurance Company, Christian Fidelity Life Insurance Company®, and Dallas General Life Insurance Company®. Charlie’s career has been focused in the life insurance industry for over thirty years, most recently serving as a Vice President of AXA Equitable and Chief Financial Officer of its subsidiary, US Financial Life Insurance Company. Previously, he held positions as Executive Vice President and CFO of the Ceres Group, Inc., parent of five life insurance companies. Prior to that he was Executive Vice President, CFO, and Director of the Harcourt General Insurance Companies, owner of three life insurance companies. Charlie has successfully led the financial teams of his former Life Company employers, including Controllers, Actuarial, Treasury, Investments, and M & A; facilitating growth and profitability in a controlled environment. He was instrumental in overseeing over thirty acquisitions in this process, in addition to having held the role of Managing Partner of a Life Insurance Company acquisition firm.

Charlie has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Virginia Tech and numerous certificates in the insurance industry, including an FLMI with distinction.

Jan Riedell

Director of Compliance & Secretary

Jan joins us from our sister company, U-Haul International, Inc.®, where she served as Assistant General Counsel, managing a wide variety of civil litigation cases ranging from contract and employment lawsuits to insurance lawsuits.

Jan earned her bachelor Degree in Spanish from the University of Oregon. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Arizona State University's Sandra O'Conner College of Law, graduating as a Pedrick Scholar. Prior to entering law school, Jan worked in Human Resources for a healthcare insurance company.
